That one year internship in the US or Canada is still kind of an option. Not sure if a good option, but an option nonetheless. I'd be assisting in surgery in order to "bring back to Brazil" the know how of modern gear. First thing I'd do if I went would be buy one of these on the cheap and park it next to whatever it is medics/interns/whatevers usually drive in the US/Canada. I'm told what they drive is quite expensive. It would make for a funny contrast.

I think most interns in the US are flat broke from medical school.

You'll likely be parking next to some Ions and Cavilers and whatnot.
